Specialist Ecological Advisor

About the role 

The Specialist Ecological Advisor is an exciting new role that will help restore and enhance
biodiversity at this crucial time for nature. The role will grow Plantlife Biodiversity Consultants (PBC) capacity to positively
impact nature and influence industry practices.

The advisor will work in partnership with landowners and land managers to deliver a high
standard of habitat creation, restoration and enhancement. They will also provide guidance to
corporate partners on their biodiversity-related activities and policies. Tasks will include
leading habitat and species surveys, drafting and reviewing technical reports and guidance,
delivering and designing training and managing projects.

About you

We are looking for a driven, proactive individual, who is enthusiastic about delivering
Plantlife’s mission of a world rich in plants and fungi. You must be a pragmatic and
open-minded thinker. You must be able to work collaboratively, but also have the confidence and
skills to work independently, when required. You must be a strong communicator, written and
oral, that can effectively deliver for clients and communicate Plantlife’s mission.
