Specialist Respiratory Nurse

This post is to support delivery of the Integrated Respiratory Service within Hillingdon borough. The appointee will join the existing multi-disciplinary respiratory team, and work in conjunction with the team members in coordinating and developing the service. The post holder will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders involved in the provision of integrated care, to ensure joined up care for patients across acute, community, primary and secondary care settings. A collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive patient centred service is provided.This post would suit a Nurse looking to develop their respiratory knowledge base and gain experience in delivering Integrated Respiratory Care. The post holder will develop a good working knowledge in the diagnosis and management of Asthma and COPD, hone their clinical assessment skills and experience working as an autonomous practitioner.Main duties of the job
