Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visitWhat You’ll Be DoingAs a Sr. Application Support Analyst, you’ll be joining CIBC’s application development and support team that provides analysis and second level support on client issues, technical issues, system/web site outages and questions from BCC by maintaining, prioritization and addressing to respective CIBC Technology groups and Vendors. Nice to have skills as Python and Unix with knowledge of Azure and DevOps.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How You’ll SucceedDay to Day Maintenance: You will also be responsible for maintaining the production applications and day-to-day operational activities, manage escalations and modify established procedures / approaches to suit specific situations including on rotation support and coordination of recovery efforts. Manage issue logs and business requests. Produce and present required technical documentation.Investigate: and define operational issues and prioritize based on severity, risk and/or strategic business needs.Relationship Management: Work as a regular liaison with business partners, technology partners, senior management team, internal and external clients.MS Azure: Familiar with Azure cloud services, Azure Integration Services, Azure Data Storage services (including blobs, lakes, files, queues tables, etc.), Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Function Apps, REST APIs, Micro Services and API Management.Who You AreYou can demonstrate experience in strong communication and ITIL skills (incident and change management).Have good exposure to SQL, Job scheduling tools (crontab, Autosys), ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy) and java application architecture.Exposure to various project management methodologies like Waterfall & Agile would be added advantage.Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy). Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on issues and system outages.Nice to have skills as Python and Unix with knowledge of Azure and DevOps.You’re passionate about people.
