Job Description:
Sr. Director, Strategic Capture
GDIT is seeking a Sr. Capture Directors for the Defense Division. In this new senior leadership role, you will be responsible for aligning and executing strategic captures across the division with a focus on applying emerging technologies in new/innovative ways to support critical DoD mission-focused use-cases . This position will require a skilled leader and communicator that can successfully build, lead, and mentor cross-functional and agile capture teams to develop prototype or other demonstratable and discriminating technology solutions that can be proven formally in theater demonstrations and/or as part of a traditional competitive acquisition process or alternative process (e.g., OTA).
Capture Responsibilities –

Work in close collaboration with GDIT Growth, Technology, and P&L leadership as well as our strategic commercial technology partners to develop and execute capture strategies

Define compelling and differentiating win strategies to include customer engagement, solutions development, competitive assessments, shaping strategy, teaming strategy, pricing strategy, and bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management.

Identify internal and external use cases to apply solutions across multiple customer use cases within the Defense market.

Continuously shape and effectively position GDIT to win new business leveraging the prototypes developed by the capture team.

In Partnership with our OEM and VAR ecosystem, establish competitive pricing structures and solutions that create scalable executable programs with profitable returns.

Develop marketing strategies and providing input into market account plans with assigned account BD and P&L leaders that align with the company’s strategic plan

Develop and maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers and partners.
Qualifications :
-
BS/BA Degree
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a capture manager, leading large and complex DoD capture opportunities for large or mid-tier Federal Systems Integrators, technology providers, and/or venture capital-focused businesses that work in the National Security markets

Familiarity, experience and track record of success working with DoD acquisition processes for adopting emerging technologies, e.g., Other Transaction Authority (OTA), Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and/or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, work collaboratively to solve problems, and lead cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to effectively present to and communicate with senior executives both internally and externally

The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 – $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
