Location: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment; working remote as well as at the closest office location.About the opportunityThe key responsibility of the Sr. Events Marketing Specialist is to effectively support the Senior Manager, Events working on several key events and programs, including the Expo at Dayforce’s annual customer conference, as well as 3rd party tradeshow booths, and will work in partnership with the broader Marketing department, and collaborate with teams across the organization, assisting in building a consistent and positive experience for our attendees.This role requires an individual with experience in working across groups, who approaches their work with a creative mindset and is an emerging talent in project management. The successful candidate is a person who loves tradeshows, their impact, the unique experience they provide on behalf of a brand – and an individual who loves to be a part of that.The Sr. Events Marketing Specialist will have an eye for detail, be a critical thinker, have strong collaboration skills and an aptitude for learning and curiosity. They will embrace tight deadlines and thrive under pressure with confidence.What you’ll get to do

• Manage assigned events, as well as support on other large strategic events in areas like attendee logistics, booth orders, and bringing the Dayforce presence to life
• In conjunction with the Senior Manager, Events and senior teammates, partner with Dayforce vendors to deliver on logistics
• Specific responsibilities include project management of tradeshow elements such as design, staffing, campaign components, tracking results in real-time, measuring for impact and overall booth logistics.
• Assist with growing and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining the calendar for events both national and regional that incorporates deliverable specifics and manage to the deadline deliverables that help advance the success of the Dayforce brand
• Oversee our regional tradeshow assets and relationship with the vendor – manage asset stock levels, act as point of contact for the Field Marketing team with regards to order management as needed

Skills and Experience we value

• Post-secondary education in Marketing via Diploma/Degree in Marketing preferred
• 2+ years Marketing/Events Management
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Highly organized individual with an ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent client service and relationship skills;
• Independent, self-starter with strong people skills;
• Experience in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft tools
• Experience working within a diverse team that is accountable to stakeholders both within and outside of the department, at multiple levels
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines, and to be flexible and adaptable to change
• Professional maturity and a sense of humor preferred
