Our unique competitive advantages give us unmatched insight into the demands of the consumer.Learn more about Leggett & Platt Automotive:POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior FP&A Analyst will have a leading role in both branch and product line Financial Planning and Analysis processes. This role is responsible for the accurate completion of monthly, annual and long-term forecasting to ensure costeffective operations within the guidelines set by LPA. This role will complete analysis of current data and provide recommendations for improvements. They will assist in the completion of relevant Business Plans and audit the effectiveness of actual performance. This role will be responsible for ensuring the use of streamlined modeling in coherence with global standardization. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Regional Costing teams to ensure proper and effective financial methodologies. This role will often be called upon to present relevant data & summaries to functional areas throughout the organization to help explain results, changes, and impacts on potential scenarios.Key RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for planning, analysis and reporting at a branch level to drive local optimization, and to support global product line requirements.Performs several key tasks during the monthly planning cycle in the areas of pricing, non-volume revenue, direct labor, standard costs, margin analysis, expense forecasts, working capital inputs, projection reasonableness, etcProviding insight to the Costing team to appropriately account for costing parameters.Support local plants in cost save initiatives. Drive cost reduction and profit enhancement via analysis and related recommendations for the business.Support both local plant and global FP&A with ad hoc reporting and analysis.Ensuring that data provided by other groups is validated and vetted prior to inclusion in planning.Educate and train others on FP&A.Educational requirements, Certifications:Post-secondary degree from an accredited University in Business, Finance, or a related field; Professional certification and/or MBA preferred.Experience:5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience within a manufacturing environment (automotive or publicly traded company preferred)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:Ability to work on global teams, proficient verbal and written communicationSolid understanding of FP&A and costing methodologiesExtensive experience with S&OP and budgeting/forecasting processesComputer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel (SQL a plus)Proficiency in ERP systems, familiarity with Microsoft D365 preferredExcellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and processHigh integrity and ethical standards, and an ability to handle confidential informationWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
