Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Marketing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction over multiple job families or areas of expertise within the Marketing function.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager role leads our Component Lifecycle Management team for the Cardinal Health Presource kitting business. The Presource kitting component partsbase consists of over 35,000 products sourced from over 500 suppliers. The Senior Manager role leads the strategy, team and processes to maintain the partsbase in response to re-sourcing projects, supplier discontinuations, strategic business decisions, new launches, and substitutions. Each of these changes requires an update to component information and liaising with multiple cross-functional partners including Portfolio Marketing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales Operations. This role includes leadership of the substitution and new product introduction processes as well as product photography. This is a critical role to maintaining data integrity in our partsbase and supporting customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategy for the partsbase, including adding, revising, and discontinuations of parts for the PreSource kitting business

  • Responsible for development of processes to maintain the partsbase in response to business needs

  • Partners cross-functionally for projects including re-sourcing projects, new launches, product substitutions, and supplier discontinuations

  • Manages a team of 3 direct reports

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Medical device experience highly preferred

  • Ability to analyze and break down large data sets

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 – $152,985
