The Operational Technology Support Centre (OTSC) is a world class remote support facility, delivering specialist network and application support to various mining operations around the world.

  • Provision of frontline network and systems monitoring and critical response to clients
  • Responsible for delivering Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all incidents impacting asset availability or the site Fleet Management System (FMS) in alignment to the service scope and SLAs.
  • Provision of technical and system administration support.
  • Responsible for the rectification of level 1 IMS application related issues.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of IT systems.
  • Ability to apply organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
  • Self-starter who is team-orientated but capable of working alone.
  • Provide input into the creation and maintenance of OTSC standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
  • Advise on operations and maintenance of delivered works; support company Change Management processes.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to improve entire customer experience.
  • Contribute to the OTSC services and IMS roadmap through experience in understanding end-user needs. Customer Relations
  • Facilitating all aspects of customer service in achieving quality outcomes.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by challenging existing ways of doing business, value of deliverables and investigating new opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships to develop a team-based culture of co-operation and communication.
  • As required, foster positive relationships with other vendors to ensure shared client or business objectives are achieved seamlessly.
  • Capability Development
  • Contribute to the creation and documentation of processes for the OTSC.
  • Provide consultancy to OTSC Team Leaders and the SSM in relation to OTSC services to assist with standardization of remote support capabilities globally.
  • Remain flexible and available to deliver remote services (OTSC and level 1 IMS support) to engaged clients.
