Sr. Network Architect/Technologist in Saint Paul, Minnesota

We are in search of a Network Architect to join a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves providing network design support, developing strategic architecture plans, recommending technology solutions, and facilitating the adoption of architectural best practices. You will also be responsible for assessing the current state of the network architecture and making recommendations for improvements. Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate network design and architecture support for existing projects

• Develop a strategic architecture plan that aligns with the business goals and technological capabilities

• Recommend scalable, sustainable, and secure technology solutions to drive business value

• Facilitate the adoption of architectural best practices and frameworks

• Assess the current state of the network architecture and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide network architecture guidance

• Implement security measures to protect the network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed

• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures

• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the network team.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Architect or in a related role

• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Cisco ASA, and Cisco Routers is required

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Technologies and EO/IR systems is essential

• Experience with AB Testing, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management is expected

• Must have proven experience with Deployments, Design, and Palo Alto Networks

• Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewall, Check Point, and White Box Testing is necessary

• Understanding of Software Defined Networking, Global Mobility, and Mobility management is needed

• Must have knowledge of Global System for Mobile Communications, Mobile architecture, and PCI Compliance

• Proficiency in PCIe, PCI, Stakeholder communications, and Stakeholder meetings is required

• Experience with Project Stakeholders, Stakeholder engagement, Architectural Diagrams, and Architecture Design is expected

• Must be able to create and interpret Architectural Plans, Architectural Standards, and Architectural Drawings Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
