As a STEM Academic Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ learning and development in STEM subjects. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering 1:1 and small group support to students, tailoring sessions to individual needs and learning styles.
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive STEM lessons and activities.
• Collaborating with teachers to identify students requiring additional support and devising effective strategies to enhance their understanding and performance.
• Monitoring and assessing students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
• Fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment that inspires curiosity and a love for STEM subjects.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a graduate or an undergraduate seeking a placement, with a strong academic background in a STEM discipline. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess:

• A passion for STEM education and a desire to inspire young minds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
