This position involves conducting in-depth strategic and industry analyses, facilitating the development of corporate and business area strategies, and providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership. The Manager will also support cross-functional strategic projects that drive organizational growth and innovation.What you will do:

• Meaningfully contribute to the development and presentation of material for the September Board Strategy session
• Create written material, to define and communicate our strategies for achieving our strategic vision
• Work collaboratively with the business to develop and define key actions and associated metrics to measure progress against Nutrien’s strategy
• Support the review and approval process, communicate requirements and deliverables effectively across Nutrien
• Respectfully challenge to continuously improve strategy development and implementation
• Support promulgation of Nutrien’s strategy across the organization through engagement and coordination with executive leadership, Nutrien’s businesses and corporate teams
• Analyze macro environment and major industry trends to develop a robust understanding of emerging opportunities and threats across Nutrien’s business portfolio
• Encourage strategy development, and in partnership with the business, identify new business initiatives that capture emerging opportunities for Nutrien
• Develop trusting and collaborative relationships throughout the organization to inform and challenge Nutrien’s strategy
• Support the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, driving change across the organization

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or professional designation is required. A post-graduate designation such as a CFA, CPA or MBA in Strategy, Finance, Marketing or similar is an advantage
• 8 or more years of experience in the agriculture or fertilizer industry
• Superior analytical skills, the ability to both dig into the details and retain big picture thinking
• Strong project management skills, experience influencing others, reaching alignment, and driving execution
• Effective written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various audiences, including senior leadership
• A curious mindset that enjoys tackling problems
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and have a high skill level with Excel and PowerPoint
