About the Role:
The RCA is looking for an outstanding individual to support the Head of Student Experience and Academic Registrar to deliver an excellent student experience to our current and incoming students.
The role of the Student Experience Administrator will be to support the delivery, coordination, organisation, and administration of the Student Experience team and contribute, as part of a team, to supporting a range of activities within the department. This person will act as the first point of contact for the Student Experience Team and provide friendly, helpful and informed responses to queries from students, guiding them to relevant information and initiating direct referrals to specialist staff. They will also take a lead role in organising diaries, meetings, committees, panels, and events for the Head of Student Experience and Academic Registrar.
What is your management style?
I like to promote an open, supportive, and collaborative culture. I place a lot of trust in my team but I am always there to support when needed. I give my team the space to grow within their roles and develop as professionals.
What is one piece of advice that would you give to someone who is about to start in this role?
RCA is fast-paced and our students expect a high level of customer service. Expectations are for our team to action tasks in a speedy manner, whilst always demonstrating a focus on quality and efficiency.
Why did the last person leave this role?
RCA is highly encouraging of internal growth; the last person in this role was promoted to become an Advisor within the Student Centre team.
