Rewarding Careers.Doing things differently.Subject Coordinator£28,047 – £33,364 per annum37 hours per weekFull time/PermanentAbout the RoleThe Subject Coordinator is a senior member of the School’s Subject Administration team, leading a team of administrators to provide a comprehensive administrative service to designated subjects and courses within the School.In this role you will supervise a team of administrative colleagues to deliver effective administration of allocated subjects and courses and will be responsible for delivering effective staff appraisals, performance monitoring and problem solving, developing and implementing good practice and procedures. You will work alongside two other Administration Coordinators within the Subject Administration team, under the guidance of the School Administration Officer.You will assist and collaborate with the School Administration Officer, Heads of Academic Departments and Course Managers for designated subjects/courses, ensuring the management and implementation of operational quality through from student induction to exam boards and student graduation. You will also assist and collaborate on projects in support of administrative tasks under the direction of the School Administration Officer.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in team leadership to deliver effective administrative support, an attention to detail, the ability to work under your own initiative and have a solution-focussed approach to all tasks. A customer focussed approach to students and academic colleagues will be at the core of your way of working.
