Job Summary:

The Intern position provides a work-study opportunity with physical security experts. The Intern will participate in various tasks that may include; site protection operations, process administration, access control, vulnerability/threat identification and analysis, security process development, and client needs assessments. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  2. Perform market research, risk analysis, and threat environment reporting, as directed.

  3. Review and monitor access control.

  4. Review, and analyze various news channels and inform the Project Manager on related security issues.

  5. Prepare incident reports and security alerts related to security breaches.

  6. Maintain a continued, positive relationship with co-workers and clients, through appropriate contact and the anticipation of service needs.

  7. Appropriately inform management personnel of all issues relating to on-going matters.

  8. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in homeland security or security studies. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer that seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
