Job Description:Job SummaryThe Supervisor, Crew Logistics is responsible for leading the crew logistics team as well as managing all travel and accommodation arrangements for Flight Crew.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, guidance and leadership to the Crew Logistics team.
  • Oversee execution of hotel, air, and ground transportation reservations for crew.
  • Supervise the work performance of Crew Logistics Coordinators, conduct performance related meetings and apply disciplinary action as required.
  • Liase with external stakeholders to ensure advantageous business relationships for the crew scheduling team.
  • Actively communicate with Operational Teams to ensure travel arrangements meet safety, regulatory, efficiency, and service levels.
  • Coordinate and assist with hotel and ground transportation Procurement and invoice reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture to drive the recruitment and selection of Crew Logisitics Coordinatros
  • Responsible for training and communication of policy changes pertaining to crew logistics.
  • Participate in the Crew Hotels committee to ensure safety and service standards are met.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established company policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Crew Scheduler/Planner
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Knowledge of 705 Canadian Aviation Regulations pertaining to crewing
  • Experience with Navblue NOC, Skyspeed, and knowledge of Porter’s FOAG is an asset
  • Experience negotiating and working closely with hotel and transportation stakeholders is an asset
  • Works well under pressure, performs and coordinates multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to identify problems, their sources and the potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of google suite products
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift work and overtime if necessary
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
