Given this, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team as a KTP Associate for Supply Chain Security Management Framework. This full-time, 33-month position involves working on a project to enhance supply chain security-protecting the supply chain from disruption, specifically cyber-attacks.The industrial partner for this project is Airbus Operations Ltd, a subsidiary of Airbus, a major multinational aerospace corporation headquartered in Europe. Airbus Operations Ltd focuses specifically on the operational aspects of Airbus’ business activities, including manufacturing and assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul, logistics and supply chain management, engineering and innovation, customer support and services, as well as quality assurance and regulatory compliance. This project aims to enhance Airbus’ existing maturity assessment framework. The project outputs are expected to lead to improved secure communications and incident response, paving the way for a secure and resilient supply chain network.You will be employed and supported by an academic team from Edinburgh Napier University and be based at the company’s premises in Newport.Main Duties and Responsibilities:The KTP Associate should perform the following activities under the guidance of the project leads and supervisors: * Engage with the industrial partner and their stakeholders to gain insights, including a thorough understanding of the Airbus Commercial business, culture, and personalities based at the Newport and Toulouse offices, as well as Airbus’s Maturity Framework Assessment.

  • Conduct comprehensive requirement analysis and specification for the enhanced communication platform.
  • Develop and implement the secure communications platform.
  • Integrate, test, and evaluate the effectiveness of the secure communication platform and maturity assessment framework comprehensively.
  • Strategically implement and integrate decision support.
  • Provide training, facilitate system handover, and embed and disseminate knowledge.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:MSc/PhD in cybersecurity or relevant alternative.Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in developing and adapting frameworks for use in a large organization
