This is a key leadership role, that works as part of the Northern European Supply Chain and Plant Operations. This role ensures that the team is capable to progress and get the needed support for their journey of becoming best in class manufacturing sites. This person needs to ensure that there is improvement in Cost, Quality, Safety, Delivery and Morale results of the plants through the implementation of the IL6S program and the plants reap the benefits of the capability increase.
How you will contribute
You will:

Apply Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) principles, tools and techniques to create a zero-loss culture that enhances our capabilities in loss identification, loss eradication and prevention

Nurture a Lean and Continuous Improvement culture that challenges the status quo and changes our employees’ behaviours

Provide training on IL6S tools and techniques to drive teams through Continuous Im-provement cycles. You will also coach employees so they can successfully achieve their targets

Lead IL6S implementation in several Plants using the available material and past experience in TPM and HPO implementation.

Partner with plant teams and site IL6S Leaders to provide coaching on IL6S via quarterly site visits to help the teams understand the current status, identify gaps and align on actions and next steps. Provide follow-up on progress regularly and help in getting the work done. Keep the necessary tension to improve, to detect strengths and opportunities, to provide engaging guidance, in order to keep the Site on track to meet Phase deadline and improve business results.

Coach up and down the organization irrespective of levels and help the team to be able to see losses and come up with executable plans to eliminate the losses.

Use the quarterly plant visits to drive the IL6S program forward and partner with regional pillar teams and other IL6S managers in the region to jointly own the program and capability building. Detect possible CBA’s for future reapplication.

Train and coach the teams on all IL6S tools, their usage and the outcome expected as well as ensure that teams are using IL6S to deliver the results.

Encourage leaders to manage performance using balanced score cards. You will also coordinate the KPI performance review, using root-cause analysis for those out of target and implementing corrective actions

Benchmark externally, ensuring where relevant that best practice and new tools are deployed I collaboration with internal partners

Experienced Manufacturing Leader

Experience in implementing Lean or Continuous Improvement processes (e.g. TPM for manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma in consumer goods industry)
