Introduction
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) intends to procure a fuel dispensing machine together with the required fuel supply, supported by a container-mounted off-grid Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system. This initiative responds to the need for a reliable and sustainable energy source to ensure uninterrupted operation of the fuel dispensing system in areas where access to the utility grid is limited or unavailable.
The Solar PV system will be installed on the roof of a container van, providing an independent, clean, and renewable power supply. By integrating solar energy into fuel dispensing operations, UNDP seeks to enhance energy resilience, reduce dependency on conventional grid electricity, and contribute to the organization’s broader commitment to sustainability and low-carbon development.
