Seeking a Flexible Supply Teacher – Secondary in Southampton!Job Title: Flexible Supply Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £93 – £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: After Half Term/Easter 2025

As a Flexible Supply Teacher, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to teach a range of subjects, ensuring continuity and support in students’ learning experiences.Responsibilities of the Flexible Supply Teacher:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach pre-planned lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated.
• Adapt to Different Classrooms: Quickly adjust to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
• Support Student Learning: Provide support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
• Maintain Classroom Management: Ensure a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Assess Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work with school staff to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in students’ education.
• Stay Updated: Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements of the Flexible Supply Teacher:

• Educational Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Teaching Skills: Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Passion for Teaching: Enthusiasm for inspiring and educating young minds.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
• Professional Development: Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• DBS: Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
