Do you have experience of providing high-level administrative support working in a research support or finance role?  Do you have good organisational and communication skills?  Do you have the ability to prioritise workload and work flexibly to support a range of activities with competing deadlines and timescales?

The LSSI is a vibrant research Institute that works to support and enhance the social sciences across the University and in collaboration with our external partners.  It fosters interdisciplinary and international research collaborations, promotes relations with external partners in the public, private and third sectors and builds capacity through the provision of training and skills development for the next generation of research leaders.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to work as part of a team to support the delivery of activities and workshops in LSSI and through the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) with support from the LSSI core team.

You will provide support relating to the administration and financial management of the IAA hosted by LSSI.   This part of the role will involve working in close conjunction with the Faculty of Environment Research & Innovation Office.

You will have experience of providing professional administrative support with the ability to manage events and processes.  You will be a good problem solver, with strong analytical skills and work well under pressure.  The ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential, as are strong organisational, interpersonal, communication skills and to work to tight deadlines.
