ABOUT THE SUSTAINABLE RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION
Since 2010, The Sustainable Restaurant Association has set the Standard for sustainable
foodservice businesses globally. The SRA connects businesses around
the world to accelerate change towards a hospitality sector that is socially progressive
and environmentally restorative through the world’s largest sustainability certification
tailored for the sector: Food Made Good. The Food Made Good Standard (FMG) is the
global gold standard for measuring progress across the industry. It is the world’s most
comprehensive sustainability certification specifically designed for foodservice.
We set the Standard for sustainable foodservice around the world.
We are a small, passionate team that
punches above our weight. We work with around 400 foodservice businesses – a figure that
expands out to about 11,000+ commercial kitchens across the globe. As our team grows, we are

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive Sustainability Analyst to support foodservice
businesses to gain Food Made Good certification, helping the sector move further and faster
toward a progressive future.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Sustainability Analyst is responsible for delivering the Food Made Good (FMG) Standard and
report process. This
role is primarily process oriented: assessing evidence, asking clients appropriate follow-up
questions, producing reports for F&B businesses in a timely fashion and ensuring that these
businesses have an optimal experience of the Standard. The Sustainability Analyst is also
responsible for answering customer enquiries to [email protected] and [email protected] inboxes.
This role will also support the FMG Standard Team to solidify the process for reporting going
forward, identify opportunities for streamlining, and support with research as needed as the
new Standard is developed.
You are expected to keep up to date with foodservice-related sustainability trends, research
and other developments, and to share that knowledge with our network and the team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Processing evaluations from the point of submission to the delivery of the final report
- Understanding the full evaluation process, and answering any business questions or
troubleshooting - Assessing evidence submitted by foodservice businesses and asking any necessary questions
- Writing and delivering Food Made Good Standard reports in a timely fashion
- Managing enquiries and emails to customers
- Updating client records and tracking client progress through the Standard
- Supporting the FMG Standard team in streamlining the processes for support
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Keen attention to detail
- Thorough research skills and fact checking
- Knowledge of sustainability trends and issues, particularly regarding food systems
- Highly organised, even when working independently
- Confidence in working with clients, answering questions and delivering results
- Passion for tackling social and environmental issues related to food and hospitality
- Hospitality experience and language skills –– above all Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and/or
Italian –– are particularly welcome
