Sustainability Projects Manager

Turn your passion into impact. At Greenwich, we take our sustainable responsibilities seriously and are motivated by the ability to empower change when we act together; from the smallest action to life changing research. We are leaders in the sector, and have maintained the ‘First Class Award’ in the People & Planet’s University Green League since 2012, currently ranked 7th in the UK table. The Sustainable Development Unit drives this passion, and we are looking for a new effective team member to help continue delivering this agenda.

You will manage our sustainable labs self-accreditation (LEAF) and be involved in procurement, living labs amongst other areas, focussed on pushing forwards our sustainable agenda. You will create a stronger depth of performance, in line with our embedded policies and Sustainability Strategic Action Plan. It will require a confidence in communicating and utilising innovative attributes to motivate partners into pursuing better practices. Your goal, as is that of all staff and students will be sustainability excellence in everything you do.

We are seeking applicants with ambition, creativity and drive. You will learn quickly and deliver multiple innovative projects successfully and on time. In return, you will join a motivated workforce as we aim to become the top modern university in the UK by 2030 and our people are truly at the heart of what we want to achieve.
