Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Burnaby is seeking a skilled Systems Design Director for Canada, with expertise in passenger and freight rail to join our Transit & Rail Systems Team. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to deliver impactful projects and advance industry standards.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Role purpose:The Systems Design Director will lead all aspects of the Systems (Communications, Electronic Security, Signaling & Train Control, Power Supply & Distribution, etc.) design efforts across rail & transit and other market sectors across all project phases, such as the development of technical specifications, technical bid evaluations, test plans, technical documentation and drawing packages. The Systems Design Director will also provide support to the Systems Engineering and Assurance team, support to Project Management teams, procurement support, construction support, testing & commissioning support, client and stakeholder management (including vendors, partners, AHJ’s, third parties), as well as various other Systems design responsibilities as required by projects.Dimensions:
