Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a IT Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer with experience in hybrid Azure, Entra, M365, servers, VMware, Windows, etc. If this sounds like your background, then this IT Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer role is for you. Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, C or CTH or FTE

Responsibilities:

• Provide second-level support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to servers, storage systems, and enterprise applications

• Administer and support cloud environments, including Azure, ensuring efficient operation and resolving any issues

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and related systems

• Manage and monitor backups, disaster recovery operations, and ensure business continuity

• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure network security

• Collaborate with Tier 1 support to resolve escalated issues, providing guidance and mentorship

• Work closely with clients to understand their systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, processes, and service records

• Participate in the planning and deployment of new projects and systems integrations

  Requirements

• Customer Support, Advanced Troubleshooting

• Managing System Issues (Windows-based Applications)

• Microsoft 365

• Azure Cloud (Hybrid Infrastructure, Entra ID, Making Changes/Troubleshooting)

• Understanding difference between Systems and Network

• ITSM Experience (ConnectWise preferred)

• MSP Background (Preferred)

• PowerShell (preferred)

• VMware/Hyper-V (preferred)
