As a Software Engineer II, you are part of a team that designs, develops and integrates avionics software for aerospace products. You will use your experience to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements analysis and decomposition
Identify and address complex engineering challenges to provide solutions that meet technical standards.
Systems integration, validation & verification
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop advanced systems.
Customer interaction
Project oversight and coordination
Budget/schedule responsibility
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
3+ years of experience working with software & hardware development
Knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio

Experience in systems engineering and project leadership
