As a Software Engineer II, you are part of a team that designs, develops and integrates avionics software for aerospace products. You will use your experience to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requirements analysis and decomposition

  • Identify and address complex engineering challenges to provide solutions that meet technical standards.

  • Systems integration, validation & verification

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop advanced systems.

  • Customer interaction

  • Project oversight and coordination

  • Budget/schedule responsibility

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

  • 3+ years of experience working with software & hardware development

  • Knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

  • C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Multi-tasking and can manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
