We are uniquely positioned to have the potential on bringing innovative medicines to patients across multiple disease areas.The role is to lead and develop medical product strategies and activities in Immunology in close collaboration with the medical and cross-functional teams, be the scientific expert of assigned products, contributing to clinical strategy, collaborating to develop impactful medical education plans, evidence generation plans and implementation science plans.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities:Understands and follows trends in disease area to maintain a scientific and clinical leadership positionRoutinely assesses gaps in practice vs guideline-directed therapy and delivers a strong medical plan including evidence generation plans, publications, medical education to deliver on the Target Patient/Population Outcomes (TPO)Cultivates and maintains relationships with top clinicians in collaboration with the field teamsCo-creates and co-leads the medical/overall strategyCreates implementation science plans to shape health policy and practice guidelinesWorks collaboratively to establish educational needs and delivers strategic educational plansBuilds Health Care System’s relationships and collaboration, partnering and building trust/commitmentRole model for our culture, values & behaviours, consistently demonstrating the highest ethics and integrity based standardsCommitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Requirements:Medically qualified and GMC registered Physician or Pharmacist or PhD, Life Science Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentSignificant experience in Medical Affairs in the Pharmaceutical industryExperience of the Immunology disease area is highly desirableExcellent communication skills with broad range of stakeholdersExperience and knowledge of UK Healthcare SystemDeep understanding of evidence generation and educational strategiesExpertise in the drug development and approval processCommercial acumenWorking knowledge of the ABPI codeAbility to lead without authority and courage to challenge the status quoLocation:
