Background of Country and Emergency Response:

As of February 24th, the IRC has pivoted to an emergency response in Ukraine and now we are working in multiple locations in Ukraine providing assistance to our clients in the fields of economic recovery and development, protection and health.
This position will be based in Kyiv, with possible travel to other locations in Ukraine. The aim of this position is to support country programs with sourcing and recruitment of highly-qualified staff for operations and program teams.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment and sourcing
● Working closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
● Managing the full recruitment life cycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent.
● Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up.
● Continuously partnering with HR Coordinator, HR Manager and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
● Staying active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
● Developing and releasing job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards.
● Utilizing knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and executing innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates.
● Screening CVs, interviewing, and managing candidates throughout interview process and assisting with final offer negotiation
● Maintaining a database of candidate records and recruitment files.
● Following up on interview process status and updating records in the internal database.
Capacity building of HR staff
● Supporting HR Coordinator with building capacity of HR staff on the topics of recruitment and sourcing by means of providing learning sessions and presentations.
● Providing coaching and guidance to the HR team and hiring managers on recruiting staff.
Skills and Qualifications
● 2+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resources.
● Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
● Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search.
● Knowing sourcing strategies.
● Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems.
● Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, teams etc.).
● Advanced English level, fluency in Ukrainian (Russian will be an advantage).
Preferred Qualifications
● At least Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or social sciences (or related field).
● Experience developing recruiting strategy.
● Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.

The IRC investigation unit comprises of experts and trained investigators that ensures professional survivor-centered investigations are conducted if allegations of safeguarding violations are reported through the safe and accessible reporting channels that IRC makes available to its staff, partners, and clients. IRC is also an active member of the Inter-Agency Working Group on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) set-up in Ukraine.
