Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the Tax Consulting industry for a Tax Preparer in Jamaica, New York. As a Tax Preparer, you will be primarily involved in handling accounting software systems, managing customer service, and performing necessary accounting functions. You will also be tasked with utilizing specific software such as ADP – Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Drake Tax Software.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for accurate preparation and filing of taxes.

• Handle customer inquiries, provide exemplary customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Manage ADP – Financial Services to oversee financial transactions and reports.

• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software for tax preparation and sales tax computations.

• Employ Drake Tax Software for efficient tax filing and client management.

• Perform accounting functions, including managing allowances and deductible.

• Execute data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all operations. Requirements • Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services is expected.

• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is a requirement.

• Proficiency in using CCH Sales Tax is essential.

• Candidates should be skilled in using Drake Tax Software.

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Understanding and knowledge of handling Allowances is expected.

• Excellent Customer Service skills are required.

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is required.

• Knowledge on handling Deductibles is essential.
