TDR Recruitment process Country Director Philippines


Following the vacancy of country director position of Educo Philippines in the coming September 2024, Educo has started the recruitment process of the person who will occupy this position in the organization from now on.

From People and Culture Area we want to promote a process that is as transparent and participatory as possible based on the Principles and Values that govern and guide Educo. To meet this objective, the recruitment process for the new Country Director of the Philippines will be governed by the rules set out in this document.

First, a recruitment panel specially constituted for this occasion will be delegated the responsibility of analysing all the applications and proposing 2-3 final candidates.

Given the importance of filling the position as soon as possible, while ensuring a process of the highest quality, we have decided to open the external search for applications in parallel as well as to open an internal process.

In the case of both internal and external applications, the recruitment panel will receive a maximum of 6 applications that have passed a first previous filter of suitability and relevance by an external talent agency specialized in this type of position in our sector.

This process must comply with Educo’s global recruitment procedure.

The Country Director will be responsible for leading the implementation of his/her intervention strategy in an articulated manner to Educo’s Global Impact Framework and Global Programmatic Framework.

Lead the development and execution of a high-quality country strategy in accordance with the Country Programmatic Framework, aligned to the Global Impact Framework and the Global Programmatic Framework, relevant to the local context and reflecting global priorities and contribute to Educo’ s global strategy as a member of the Global Executive Committee.




With regard to the application process, we will have the support of a Head-hunter agency for the headhunting of adequate applicants, as well as a preliminary analysis and screening of applications before going through the panel.

  • 1 Week to present final Interviews
  • 1 Week to Complete the process and complete the contract

Other Considerations

• The coordination of the process and liaison with Educo all be led by People & Culture Specialist focal Asia.

• The specific terms of the agreement with the talent agency are yet to be defined; consequently, these ToR may be subject to modification depending on the evolution of external and internal circumstances in the coming months.
