This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons in both Design Technology and Art across KS3 and KS4. You’ll teach a range of disciplines including textiles, graphics, product design, fine art, and mixed media, encouraging students to develop both technical competencies and artistic confidence. Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Passion for creative education and the ability to motivate young people

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Art and Design Technology
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Teach a range of practical and theoretical skills
- Use both traditional and digital media in lesson delivery
- Support students in developing their creative voice
- Prepare and maintain resources, tools, and materials
- Organise and display student work around the school
- Contribute to departmental planning and development
- Participate in parent evenings and school events
- Collaborate with colleagues to share good practice
