This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons in both Design Technology and Art across KS3 and KS4. You’ll teach a range of disciplines including textiles, graphics, product design, fine art, and mixed media, encouraging students to develop both technical competencies and artistic confidence. Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Passion for creative education and the ability to motivate young people

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Art and Design Technology
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Teach a range of practical and theoretical skills
• Use both traditional and digital media in lesson delivery
• Support students in developing their creative voice
• Prepare and maintain resources, tools, and materials
• Organise and display student work around the school
• Contribute to departmental planning and development
• Participate in parent evenings and school events
• Collaborate with colleagues to share good practice
