As a Geography Teacher, you’ll have the thrilling opportunity to ignite students’ passion for the world, its landscapes, and its cultures. You will be instrumental in encouraging critical thinking, environmental awareness, and academic success across various key stages.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create captivating and interactive lessons in Geography that bring the world into the classroom and inspire students to explore.
• Cultivate a Global Perspective: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to think critically about the world and their place in it.
• Personalise Learning: Adapt your teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of your students, ensuring that everyone has the chance to thrive.
• Monitor and Motivate: Assess student progress regularly and provide insightful, constructive feedback to support their development and encourage their growth.
• Innovate the Curriculum: Play a key role in developing the Geography curriculum, integrating up-to-date resources and innovative teaching methods.
• Collaborate and Share: Work closely with colleagues to exchange best practices and continually improve teaching and learning across the school.
• Enrich the Experience: Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events to provide an enriched educational journey for your students.

Requirements:

• A degree in Geography or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school community.
