Humanities Teacher | ASAP StartWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Humanities Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Northampton. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS4 and KS5. Aside from that, the successful Humanities Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.Humanities Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potential
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and keep regular records of secondary students’ academic performance
- Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
- Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Secondary students
- Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
- Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment
Humanities Teacher Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent
- Degree in relative field – A Subject of Specialism
- A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Education or any relevant field
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
- A passion for teaching and making a difference in students’ lives.
