Full Time | Permanent | Required for September 2024St Paul’s Way Trust School is seeking to appoint a talented Teacher of Religious Education. Working within a vibrant and highly successful Humanities faculty, you will be an outstanding classroom teacher with a commitment to the progress of all students in our heavily oversubscribed school.The successful candidate will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every student and support them in achieving their aspirations. You will inspire curiosity and interest for the subject which motivates students.We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and creative Teacher of RE, but the ability to teach any of the following subjects (Sociology, Psychology, Geography and RE) would be very much desirable. The post would be suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher looking to make impact in a well-resourced and supportive Faculty.We have high expectations of all students to be taught the best powerful knowledge as defined by the subject community. We believe all teaching should be evidence informed so teachers can focus on high impact methods in their practice with sensible implications on workload. Planning of lessons are based on principles derived from cognitive science and distributed through the department to drive collaboration.
