About The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures (SALC)As one of the largest groupings of students, teachers and researchers in the arts and languages anywhere in the world, this is a place to inspire, and be inspired.Find out more:The RoleThis role forms part of the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) team, which is responsible for administering a high quality service of support to students on our and programmes of study.The ideal candidate will be able manage and lead the administrative requirements, staff, budgets and resources of the Teaching & Learning team sub-team, and ensure they are operating within University, Faculty and School policies, guidance and regulations.The candidate will be expected to develop focused and effective teaching and learning strategies, alongside senior academic and professional services (PS) colleagues and will be instrumental in the implementation of such strategies across the wider TLSE team.As well as working within SALC, the role will require significant cross-organisational working with senior academic and professional services colleagues across the, Faculty and wider University, delivering a high quality, student focused service and promoting a single team culture.Please see the link below for the Further Particulars document which contains the person specification and other details of this role.
