Role: Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM start, with finish times varying between 3:05 PM and 4:00 PM
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceReeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist alternative provision in WA14. This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term opportunity to support young people aged 11 to 16 who face challenges in mainstream education due to social, emotional, and mental health needs.The Role of a Teaching Assistant:

• As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to engage with learning.
• The Teaching Assistant will provide academic and emotional support, helping students build confidence and resilience.
• The Teaching Assistant will assist in delivering tailored interventions that focus on social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• The Teaching Assistant will work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured, nurturing environment where students feel safe and supported.
• The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom setting.
