An OFSTED outstanding school in Wandsworth are looking for a teaching assistant to start as soon as possible in September with the view to work for the rest of the academic year and go permanenet for the right teaching assistant. As a teaching assistant, your responsibility is simple, to deliver the school vision each day. Teaching assistants with experience will be considered or recent graduates that would like to gain experience in education as a teaching assistant.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TEACHING ASSISTANTTeaching Assistant support for Pupils: * Support pupils to make good academic progress, under the direction of the teacher and Inclusion leader
Teaching Assistant Support for Teachers: * Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work
Qualifications needs as a Teaching Assistant:Essential: * Good literacy skills – GCSE Grade C or above in English Language; Level 2 English or above; or equivalent
