Associated duties may include marking coursework and exams.The post holder will report to the leader of the module/s they are supporting and the appointment will be available from 6th January to 30th June 2025.Please see the attached job description and person specification for full details.   • Educated to Masters level, or have equivalent qualifications or professional qualifications and experience, in a Management related field relevant to the course modules you are interested in
  • A strong understanding of key legal topics relevant to business managers, including at least some of the following areas: Contract Law, Employment Law, Intellectual Law, Health and Safety Law, Business Organisations
  • Ability to explain and apply legal concepts in a practical, real-world business context, helping students understand how these areas of law impact managers in day-to-day organisational settings.
  • Some practical experience of law in action (e.g., through legal practice, business law advisory roles, or managerial experience)
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software including Word, Excel, email, and the internet
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing (including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation), with students, academic and administrative staff at all levels
  • Excellent organisational, and time management skills and keen attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing dedicated office hours for additional coursework support and student guidance
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload and time-critical schedules working independently or as part of a team
