The University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC) has a unique and diverse international pathway portfolio running across three campuses (Farnham, Epsom and Canterbury). The international pathway courses in each campus have specific subject area focuses, managed by a Programme Director.
UCAIC is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for the International Pathway programmes at our Farnham campus. Central to the role is providing support to the teaching staff and students on the Integrated International Programmes.
The postholder will work closely with academic staff to support teaching and learning on the foundation and pre-master’s courses through the academic year.
They will support varied learning activities, projects and units for creative students on both courses. Observe assessment and support monitoring and student enhancement and engage in student recruitment activities as required by the school.
You will have a degree or master’s degree in an appropriate subject and/or industry expertise. It is expected that you will be interested in working towards a PGcert or other relevant teaching qualification and interested in supporting students in their learning journey.
We are looking for an innovative and inclusive approach to using learning technologies, and you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary issues in the field of the creative industries.
You must evidence a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and widening participation in learning and university life.
