Teaching Assistant required for immediate start at a primary school in Chingford to work mornings only.The role can also be taken full-time, applicants will be doing SEN support in KS2 in the afternoon.

• 1:1 with pre-verbal autistic child in Year 4
• Can be challenging – good behaviour management required
• Can engage in lesson, been dysregulated recently and needs specialist support
• Patient and empathetic Teaching Assistant required

The child has been regulated in the past but has deteriorated recently, given the correct support the school believe he can thrive this year.This role would suit somebody experienced working with autistic children in KS2 and confident in setting boundaries and improving behaviour and engagement.Here are some of the benefits of taking up the role
