Teaching Assistant – Mornings Only – Burgess HillMake a Difference in a Supportive School EnvironmentA primary school in Burgess Hill is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support for children with additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a small group setting and is eager to make a positive impact on their learning.About the Role:

• Mornings Only: Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm (flexible hours may be considered).
• Jan Start: Start date is January 2024.
• Support for Children with Additional Needs: Work with a small group of students with diverse needs, providing individualized support and creating a nurturing environment.
• Term-Time Only: Work until the end of the academic year (July 2024).

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.

• A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
