Concerning the Function

The Language Centre, inside the Faculty of Languages, Linguistics and Movie is seeking to appoint skilled EAP Instructing Fellows to show on the Pre-Sessional Programme over the summer season for the next course(s), relying on pupil numbers and enterprise wants:

Pre-Sessional Course B, Tuesday 9 July – 11 September 2024 (9 weeks, for programs B and C together with 4 days of induction). The post-holder will likely be required to undertake 18 contact hours per week. The wage will likely be round £8,194 (equal to £42,405 every year, professional rata).

Pre-Sessional Course C, Tuesday 6 August – 11 September 2024 (5 weeks- together with 4 days of induction). The post-holder will likely be required to undertake 18 contact hours per week. The wage will likely be round £4,864 (equal to £42,405 every year, professional rata).

Contracts are inclusive of vacation pay, preparation time, induction, admin/workplace hours and marking, and are hourly paid. Every course and pay features a necessary induction over 4 days (18 hours) from Tuesday to Friday (inclusive).

About You

You’ll have a related postgraduate diploma and/or related skilled qualification (e.g. DELTA) and/or equal skilled expertise in addition to prior expertise of instructing Pre-Sessional or EAP programs in a Increased Schooling context.
