The role will commence 1st September 2024.About YouWe are seeking to appoint a candidate with expertise in the Cultural and Creative Industries, with a focus on management and entrepreneurship, media business, and creative technologies. Ideally, the candidate will have industry expertise with links to domestic and international industry partners, as well as an interest in creative technologies, and the use of AI in the creative and cultural sector.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute innovative approaches to the delivery of the CMPS MA programmes Creative and Media Enterprises and Arts, Enterprise and Development, and the BA in Media and Creative Industries. These include academic seminar-based teaching and practice-based modules (including creative projects where students respond to an external media company’s need for a new product idea; design a cultural event; use createch innovation to manage media making; develop management and policy strategies aimed at anticipating disruption in the creative and cultural sector).To be appointed, you will hold a postgraduate degree or equivalent industry/practice experience. You will have clear potential for, or demonstrated excellence in academic teaching and learning, student experience and welfare (both pastoral and administrative).About the DepartmentCMPS at Warwick has an excellent track record in the creative industries and cultural enterprise; media and cultural policy; media, communication and culture; cultural entrepreneurship and cultural management.
