Job Category: AcademicJob Description:Grade UE07: £40,497 – £48,149 per annumCAHSS / Moray House School of Education and Sport / Institute for Education, Community and SocietyFull-time: 35 hours per weekFixed-term: from 1 September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until 31 August 2026The Institute for Education, Community and Society (ECS) invites applications for a Teaching Fellow with academic expertise in Developmental Psychology in Education.We welcome applications from candidates who have experience of teaching in Higher Education and a PhD (or equivalent) in Developmental Psychology. The post holder will primarily teach and assess on postgraduate Developmental Psychology courses. Their expertise will also be called on to teach more broadly across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within Moray House School of Education and Sport (e.g., MSc Education, MA Primary Education, MA Physical Education, and PGDE Primary).The post-holder will have responsibility for the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research dissertations, and contribute to positive student experience. In addition, they will contribute to the scholarship activities of the Developmental Psychology in Education (DPiE) community. Situated within the Moray House School of Education and Sport, IECS draws on interdisciplinary approaches to inform the understanding of education across a wide range of settings.
