As a Team Leader – Contaminants you will be leading a team of chemists and overseeing development and validation of a number of methods, inclusive of GC-MS and LC-MS.As a Contaminants – Team Lead in High Wycombe you will:

• Lead team development and organisation to enhance the chemistry offering in the contaminants lab
• Support and oversee method development and validation for a number of techniques, inclusive of GC-MS and LC-MS (qualitative and quantitative)
• Ensure compliance to necessary regulations including ISO17025 throughout
• Interact with clients when necessary to provide updates and technical insights, and reporting of data

An exciting opportunity to join a leading laboratory in contaminants testing|Overseeing laboratory functions and interacting with customers!To be successful you will have:

• Formal qualification in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry – PhD desired but not essential
• Sound experience of utilising GC-MS inclusive of developing and validating methods
• Competent and proven ability to extract and quantify trace contaminants from complex matrices
• Leadership experience, either direct management or mentorship
• Direct experience working under an accredited QMS (ISO17025, GMP, GLP as examples
