Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.
We are looking for a highly organised, supportive person with strong administrative skills to join our passionate, diverse, fun and friendly team. This role reports to the Director of Funding and Strategic Partnerships at Oxfam and will help her to plan and coordinate across a team with colleagues based around the world, working on high profile partnerships and influencing the aid sector for the better.
The role is part-time and highly flexible. There is however the requirement of being able to come to our Oxford office twice a month.
The Role:
To provide crucial administrative support to the Funding & Strategic Partnership Director and across the Funding & Strategic Partnerships team. Organising team meetings, taking notes, supporting with diary management, ensuring the team are correctly following processes and coordinating diverse task across the team.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
- Ability to work with initiative and organise, plan and prioritise, exhibiting a highly adaptable and flexible approach to work in demanding situations to deliver deadlines.
- Ability to maintain administrative systems and drive to create efficiencies.
- Attention to detail with proven ability of demonstrating this in clear written communications (such as letters, reports and minutes)
- Competent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Desire to adapt, develop skills and learn
Previous experience in an administrative/ coordination role d be beneficial but not essential.
