You will have leadership and overall responsibility for all technical aspects of developing a solution from pre-sales through delivery.You are somebody who enjoys being in front of customers, telling a story, solution design, and getting them excited about technology. The role is intended to be split across sales and delivery, with the aim of being the bridge between those project phases and being able to be a trusted adviser to clients, helping to facilitate organic growth.YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO:Consult

• Contribute to the growth of the business by playing a critical role in supporting the business development team with new business opportunities and account growth
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to prospects and customers in areas like customer experience, composable architecture, artificial intelligence, and cloud infrastructure, aligned to our key strategic partnerships
• Partner, build relationships, and become a trusted advisor to Appnovation’s customers, business development team, and client services leadership teams as the team member accountable for technology solutions and their quality
• Experience working in the composable ecosystem, such as content or commence, with an understanding of the partners and their offerings

Build

• Collaborate with multiple clients, project, and development teams
• Anticipate internal challenges and provide proactive escalation management
• Stay current with technology and industry best practices to ensure that skill set remains broad and current

Share

• Work closely with Technology Leadership to understand defined technology standards, patterns, and practices so that these are effectively communicated to client stakeholders.
• Ensure that from a technology delivery perspective, tech leadership is aligned on the tech strategies being communicated through sales channels and that practical delivery strategies are understood.
• Help with mentoring technical team members and help build effective project teams
• Business trends and growth areas with the Appnovation leadership in helping to shape our tech strategy and skills alignment to best support customer growth

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in a digital agency, consultancy, or professional services environment
• You are a T-shaped person with depth and breadth of technical experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of web (preferred) and or mobile development experience
• Knowledge of several programming languages and frameworks e.g. Javascript/Typescript, Next.js Laravel, PHP, Vue.js
• Knowledge of how to build modern web applications.
• Knowledge of architectural principles necessary for delivering scalable, extensible, composable, and maintainable high-performance web and/or mobile experiences
• Knowledge of cloud computing architecture (GCP preferred but not essential), services, and platforms
• Understanding of DevOps principles and processes
• Understanding of agile principles and methodologies

Nice to Haves:

• 3+ years of leading, managing, and mentoring distributed web or mobile development teams
• Experience with development in an enterprise environment
• Enterprise platform experience including DXPs, Salesforce, Adobe, Acquia
