This role involves coordinating new locations, refits, refurbishments, relocations, and closures from start to finish. A brilliant opportunity with the change to work on a diverse range of projects across different scales and sectors.Job Description for this Interior Project Manager Role

  • Create and issue project contact information, responsibility schedules, and initial programmes, distributing relevant information to necessary parties.
  • Attend project briefing meetings, collate necessary information, and build departmental project programmes.
  • Track changes, manage budgets, identify risks, monitor progress, and update project programmes accordingly, communicating any changes as needed.
  • Specify and manage the installation of technical equipment for all design projects, including audio, visual, and IT.
  • Maintain an electronic assets register for the interior department, including historical specifications, current physical assets, imagery, and safety certification.
  • Attend project handover meetings, create and distribute snagging lists with designers, architects, and contractors.
  • Source and engage with external contractors and landscapers as required.
  • Coordinate departmental project logistics and installation costs to ensure delivery costs are kept to a minimum.
  • As this is a new role, the successful candidate will be required to set up the above processes.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Interior Project Manager Role

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience in a construction, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience working on multiple projects of varying sizes and levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Project skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to support a team of designers and directors.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project schedules, generating reports, monitoring costs, and working with quantity surveyors, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ability to see a project through from commencement to completion.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Confident in taking a hands on approach to projects and installation.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
