Starting salary £27,396 per annum

The Faculty of Business and Creative Industries is one of three faculties here at the University of South Wales, spread across 3 campuses in Newport, Treforest and Cardiff. Our Creative Industries courses are based in our purpose-built facility, in Central Cardiff where over 2,500 students study a wide variety of creative courses from Fashion to Games, Journalism and Film.

Based mainly at the Cardiff campus, this role will provide you with a role where you can utilise your range of technical skills to support the courses taught in the faculty.

The technical officer role requires a strong knowledge of a range of media equipment, such as cameras (for both film and photography), lighting and sound equipment, as well as an understanding of technical spaces such as TV/ Radio studios. Strong teamworking, IT and customer service skills are essential for this post, as is an ability to be flexible and an ability learn new equipment.

This is a full time, permanent post working both on campus and on location where appropriate
