L’Union International des Orgnisation de Secours et Soins Médicaux (UOSSM International), since its establishment in 2012, has been providing humanitarian assistance, medical relief and healthcare services to people affected by the crisis in Syria, Turkey. Our largest achievements are focusing on operating vital hospitals and a big number of PHC centers to: 1) deliver primary care, trauma care, and psycho-social support services, 2) support clinics and hospitals with medicine, medical supplies and operating expenses, 3) train and develop human capital and medical practitioners caring for victims of war, 4) collect data to improve the quality, quantity, and types of health services provided, 5) coordinate with partner organizations to ensure that aid reaches those in need and engage the international governments, international bodies and the public for support. Furthermore, UOSSM provides complementary services such as solar systems for many health facilities.
The Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM) seeks to recruit a Technical Reporting and Project Proposal Writing Coordinator to support the UOSSM HQ and its country offices in the areas of reporting, data analysis and project proposal development. He/She will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Program Director, and will work closely with relevant departments and staff at both HQ and country office levels. The main function will be to act as a focal point/central instrument for the collection, analysis and dissemination of projects reports. He/She will provide overall technical leadership and oversight for the projects reporting and annual reports ensuring the successful reporting process of high-impact activities and alignment with project goals and donor reporting requirements, as well he/she will play a vitol role in developing comprehensive projects proposal according to the organization standards and strategic objectives, in full coordination with relevant departments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Technical Reporting and Project Proposal Writing Coordinator will be responsible for producing, monitoring and ensuring high-quality and timely reports progress and submission. As well as enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal development process, through crafting well-structured and persuasive project proposals to secure new business opportunities. HeShe will be responsible to achieve the following tasks:
1. Reporting:
1.1. Reporting and data analysis:
Act as a focal point/central instrument for the collection, analysis and dissemination of project reports;
Maintain an accurate reporting database, reporting plan and ensure on-time report submissions;
Prepare analytical reviews, identify the best practices and systematically capture lessons learnt from the previous and ongoing projects and various consultations and meetings, to guide program improvement and strategy planning;
Create and constantly update information representation on tables, reports, maps, charts, power slides, and graphics.
Coordinate with the relevant staff (grant department, technical department, Project Managers, Finance and others) for the development and issuance of the required reports based on the reporting plan;
Coordinate the report specifications and design with relevant departments, identify gaps, to meet donors, partners or stakeholders reporting requirements;
Consolidate and finalize narrative and financial projects reports, focusing on results, output, and outcomes;
Review reports with the management team in a timely manner before submission.
Review and finalize all ad hoc reports (Annual and biannual, quarterly/monthly reports ….etc) as required by management, against the program targets;
Produce and update information products such as interactive maps, charts, and info-graphics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages as well as support strategic and operational decision-making.
Deliver training to projects staff on reporting, analysis skills, and perform on-the-job reporting capacity building as required.
Monitoring and Progress Controls:
Timely delivery and provide quality assurance evaluation, including data verification on all reports and information products produced by the projects ensuring qualitative and quantitative consistency;
Effective coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
2. Project proposal development:
Proposal Development
Conduct a thorough analysis of best practices and standards related to project proposal development
Analyse existing data and gather relevant information to support proposal development
Communicate effectively with team members, partners, and donors to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives
Collaborate with relevant teams and departments to incorporate technical details and financial aspects into proposals
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and support for proposed projects
2.2 Monitoring and Evaluation:
Collaborate with monitoring and evaluation teams to incorporate relevant indicators and success criteria into project proposals
Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of proposed projects
Ensure proposals adhere to organizational standards and guidelines
Review and edit proposals for clarity, coherence, and completeness
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all proposal-related activities
Prepare presentation materials and documentation for project review meetings
Education
Bachelor’s degree in project management, international development, international relations, social sciences or related field of study. Master’s degree is preferred.
Professional Experience
In-depth knowledge of conflicts and fragile settings, as well as hamartian and development context.
Minimum five year of experience of documenting, reporting in a humanitarian context, and writing high-quality project proposals to be submitted to donors and institutional organizations and UN Agencies.
A minimum of three years of professional working experience in research, reporting, knowledge management and/or communications is required
Ability to provide reporting leadership and support, capacity building, and technical assistance on reporting and proposal writing process.
Skills
Analytical and evaluative skills to conduct reports and analysis.
Being fluent in English language with high skill in writing project proposals. Arabic language is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain smooth reporting process inside the organization and with outside partners.
Advanced cross-cultural sensitivity and experience working in multicultural, multi-linguistic environments, promoting trust and mutual respect.
Experience in adaptive management, with the ability to iterate and act whenever emergency reports are needed.
Demonstrated diplomacy, written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
Capacity to transfer and convey information and knowledge accurately and incisively to external partners, stakeholders, senior officials, and the donor community.
Demonstrate MS 365 skills.
Capable to use some tools like Power BI.
